MRTA deputy chief dies of cancer

Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) deputy governor Chukiat Photayanuvat died of cancer on Sunday morning. He was treated at Siriraj hospital. His body was taken to Chonlaprathan Rang Srit Temple. The Funeral will start at 4pm. He was born on Aug 9, 2954. He graduated from the Asian Institute of Technology with a master of mechanical engineering in 1979.

The reason that I choose this news because he was so important to MRT. And nowadays cancer is very scary many people die cause so I want to warn everyone to take care .

Bangkok voted world's best city

Bangkok and Chiangmai has been vote to be the world best city in the Travel + Leisure's 2010 World's Best Awards readers survey. The survey happened before the red shirt situation. Florence in Italy, San Miguel de Allende in Mexico and Rome, Italy were the other cities that made up the top five.Last year, Bangkok ranked the third , but the first this year. The Bangkok governor, MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra will go to New York next week to get the award. This award shows the popularity of Bangkok to foreigners around the world, making better economy in tourism of Thailand.

For my opinion I do agree with this news because I love Bangkok and I think that Bangkok is the best city on the world. The reason that I choose this news is because I really proud of this news that our city become the best city over the world while our political problem.

Population student

The new was about population student in class that increasing. In the first paragraph the new said that government has allowed the school to have 50 students per class more than the old laws that’s 40.Even nowadays many students have past the admission exam but still old problem when u get in the class have too much student. But while the numbers of student numbers increase the numbers of teacher or other resources not increase. Therefore Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva suggested that there should be more outdoor activities for the student to do if the class sizes are more likely to be bigger and bigger .After having written the initial education reform, the prime minister Abhisit visited the officials to make sure that a next attempt would not cause any mistakes. The possible solution to solve the problem is to make a public pole to collect information, which can be use for the improvement of the next reform. And in north east there was one school that separate class into two classes.

For my opinion I agree with this news because. I have been in this situation before with many students and not enough teachers it was very hard time for me. I choose this news because I wanted to show how bad this problem is. That if we want to have smart student we need to fix this problem first.

Comics

Many western comics has very interesting context. Many western comics are often available in pocket book size. Which contain 100 pages. And some are using A4 paper. For example Superman, Batman or Dracula. That can help improve vocabulary.

Reading

Sometimes reading can help student improve some skill and vocabulary. Or even some book can teach moral for student good or bad.

Writing you own

Sometime writhing your own comics’ book. Can help student learn more grammar correctly and know more vocabulary .For example children write the conversation. They will know how to speak too.

Speaking

Many event student can be ask to act a role play like in the comic. And best way to learning English is to speaking. But still student in Thailand aren’t read much English comics. But read manga instead.

For my opinion I agree with this news because the way to get in to children is to know what they like and use it. Because nowadays many teacher use only text book to teach them and lets student read it don’t have any activities. The reason that I choose this news is because children is important to our world they are growing up the be a adults to be important people in the future.

Gen Taweep banned over Olympic 'cheat' outburst

Thai amateur boxing boss Gen Taweep Jantararoj has been banned by AIBA because of his comment on about refrees and judges at 2008 Olympic games in Beijing . Director of AIBA said that Taweep have an interview in the televison after the game . Taweep doubt about the boxing match . He said that it is unfair about the juddment. He also said that one of the Thai official judd were trying to sell her country . And on the AIBA say Gen was no respect and dont have any sports man ship .He was baned for 12 months and have to pay for 90000 bath .
And the last he said ' I will step down if it necessary to do so '

I do agree what AIBA did to Gen because AIBA is a big organization. So that means he needs to do Gen as a example he said thing that he should not be supposed to say. But I do agree with Gen to beacause I have been watch the Olympic and it's really doesn't look fair beacuse many time that Thai boxer punch and he doesn't get score. Maybe this could be an example that shows he is not a real sport man or he is just a brave man who wants to say the right thing!

Thongchai off to flying start at Scottish Open

Thongchai Jaidee made a good start at scottish yesterday and was four-under par after nine holes in joining the third place. Thongchai have a excellent start with birdies at the first two holes and have birdies and make him become a leader of the tournament. And Thongchai get ready for the tournament next week at St Andrew

The reason why I choose this news is that now in Thailand we don't have many famous sport players like in the past. In Thailand, we have Paradon and that's it. But now that Thongchai have been to many big tournament and that make him so proud of himself and this new is one his success. For my opinion I think that this is not really his top from because in the next game he can do a lot better than this.
